Minneapolis-based advertising agency, Yamamoto, has hired David
Denham as Chief Client Officer, a newly created position at the agency.

Denham, previously with firms such as Sapient, Colle McVoy and space150 recently concluded his role as Vice President of Global Marketing for Minnesota-based Ergotron. In his new role, Denham will report to Yamamoto CEO Kathy McCuskey.

“In today’s rapidly changing environment, it’s critically important to deliver fresh, business-changing value to our clients. David’s tenure as a senior leader in both agency and client-side settings, provides the right level of insight and empathy to deliver a positive impact,” said McCuskey in a statement.

Denham began his career with Sapient (now Publicis Sapient), moved to New York to join Faith Popcorn and her brand consultancy BrainReserve, and then relocated to Minneapolis in 2007 where he was part of the leadership team for Colle McVoy, space150 and Peterson Milla Hooks. In 2018, he joined Ergotron as VP of Global Marketing to revitalize their global brand and go-to-market approach. He has worked closely with Gucci, PepsiCo, Colgate, Speed Stick, Cannondale, Mountain Hardwear, Indian Motorcycle, Jack Link’s and Schwan’s Consumer Brands.

In his new role, David is tasked broadly with client experience and engagement, business transformation and growth by exceeding client needs and KPIs.
