Project Manager

Yamamoto wants you! We are looking for proactive, forward-thinking Project Managers to join our growing team. Our PMs are an essential part of smooth client service and superior delivery, from ideation to execution.

Project management

  • Develop overall project timeline, maintain updates to the resource tracking program, highlight key project milestones, and create internal/external status reports
  • Able to prioritize, manage and move along multiple projects, anticipating project breakdowns, clarifying needs, managing conflict, providing resources and managing profitability to meet project goals
  • Document and maintain project details such as rounds of revisions, revision requests/detail, approvals, third-party purchasing, contributions to client style guides, etc
  • Ensure that projects are produced timely, on budget and with the degree of quality promised to the client
  • Act as central knowledge base, communicating relevant project information and providing clear direction to team on deliverables, budget (hours) and timing
  • Work with senior leadership to estimate client projects based on team input, account services insights, market value and historical data
  • Provide quality control by ensuring the review process is completed consistently, the client style guide is utilized, and that the piece(s) is/are viewed as a whole
  • Facilitate internal briefings and ensure all necessary meetings occur
  • Anticipate and communicate resources needed to deliver work on a timely basis

Business Goals

  • Work with senior leadership to manage resources, maintain margin standards, and conduct regular meetings to review budget status and gross income for assigned accounts
  • Ensure that account management achieves timely estimate/proposal/change order approvals to proceed with client projects
  • Work with accounting to execute client billing process

REQUIRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years experience as a PM in a fast-paced contemporary advertising agency environment
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to manage competing priorities and quick turn-around times 
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of the advertising spectrum: print, digital, broadcast, and beyond
  • Has a positive teamwork and “help clients succeed” attitude
